Dr. Cynthia Akagi has twenty years K-12 health education, community health outreach, curriculum writing, and program accreditation experience. She specializes in Health Education mainly HIV/ AIDS with a focus to help stop the spread of the virus in schools. Her research interests are K-12 health education and community health outreach. Dr. Akagi consults with school districts and education consortiums, working with educators globally for the betterment of children’s education and health worldwide.
Education: Dr. Cynthia Akagi holds a Ph.D. in Human Ecology from Kansas State University, U.S.A., a Master's in Sciences degree in Human Development, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Fort Hays State University.
